Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct way of rappers. Baker was born in Houston, Texas on April 22, 1990 into the family of a German and English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries and during his initial years he traveled a lot together. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Following that Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they resided with his aunt, who was his father's. Baker was bullied by other youngsters because of his poor status. The rapper began rapping as a sixth grade. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born April 22, 1990, in Texas. His music blends modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Baker was the author of four mixtapes in 2007 through 2010, before signing to Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper, who delivers songs as quickly as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011 when he switched from self-releasing mixtapes and being signed to reputable labels. The profile of the Cleveland rapper soared after the release of his debut mixtape in late 2011.
